Natural Toothpaste Solutions (1)

Did you know that most toothpastes contain enough chemical toxins including colorants, fluoride and artificial flavors, to actually kill a small child?

Check you toothpaste tube and you will be appalled by the ingredient list! Be weary of the following harmful ingredients:

  • Cocamidopropyl betaine
  • Hydrated silica
  • Sodium fluoride
  • Sodium hydroxide
  • Sodium monofluorophosphate
  • Sodium saccharin
  • Zinc citrate
  • anything ending in ‘paraben’
  • CI 42090 (FD&C Blue #1) colorant

The truth is that you don’t need chemicals in your toothpaste for clean teeth, fresh breath and healthy gums.

This blog is the first part to Natural Toothpaste Solutions.  We will continually update this segment when we discover new natural toothpaste recipes ;)

Have you considered NEWAYS products? their toothpaste is flouride free and free from other potentially harmful ingredients. Low abrasive, not harmful for a child to eat and re mineralises your teeth. my dentist insists I use a flouride toothpaste, but I am happy with my flouride free and safe product. thanks for the information. I will ask them about their organic status.
