Strawberries as your April Beauty Bliss

This April, strawberries are in season therefore you can whip up a beautiful strawberry yogurt mask.
Stawberries make an excellent skin-softening facial mask. Being part of the rose family, strawberries are rich in vitamin C and salicylic acid, a common ingredient in many commercial products for acne-prone skin.
Strawberries also have mild bleaching effect on the skin and help heal blemishes. More importantly, the salicyclic acid within the stawberries can help rids the skin of dead cells, allowing it to absord moisture more efficiently.
This deliciously beautiful strawberry mask is excellent for those with oily skin. This mask deep cleans the skin and removes surface impurities effectively.
What you need:
1 medium strawberry
1 teaspoon plain whole-milk yogurt
2 drops rosemary essential oil
- Thoroughly mash strawberry and blend with yogurt. Add rosemary essential oil to make a spreadable mask.
- Wash face with warm water and spread mask onto clean, damp skin.
- After 15 minutes, remove with a warm, wet washcloth and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Follow with a toner and moisturizer.
