In the quest for beautiful, flawless skin, we go to great lengths, sparing no expense, often just to try the latest and maybe not-so-greatest products. Are there any truly effective and truly natural skin care lines that can deliver?
Some of the most popular “natural” skin care products are filled with drying alcohols and other nasties, or they’re so watered down they barely offer any benefit. They over-promise and under deliver, and in the meantime, we’ve lost both money (the best of these products come with a hefty price tag!) and time in the process.
There are very well could be something else that is being “wasted”, too…your very health. It’s true! Judging by the sky-rocketing rates of cancer among younger women and men in the past few years, it can’t possibly be the dose that makes the poison. A daily dose of a little dab here and there, really add up!
The cosmetic and skin care industry is definitely a huge market. Every year, Americans buy nearly $50 billion dollars worth of beauty products. It includes the soaps, shampoos and gels we use every day, as well as acne treatments, anti-aging skin products, deodorants, moisturisers, perfume…..and the list goes on.
Most of us never look into these things until it’s too late. Don’t wait until your health is affected by it. It’s an inconvenient truth… for all of us. I was perfectly happy using my Pantene and my Olay., until I found out what was in it. Keep in mind that whether you’ve had cancer or not – prevention is the only cure right now. This is one of the only things that you are in control… so make an informed decision about what you’re putting on your body!
If you don’t know what an ingredient is or you couldn’t pronounce the ingredients on the label, don’t use it ! Below is a starter list of what to avoid. It won’t contain every single, toxic beauty ingredient, ever. That list would go on forever!
